6. Darwin’s Natural Pet Products — E. coli & Salmonella (July 2025)
The FDA issued an advisory for certain lots of Darwin’s Natural Pet Products beef dog food after testing found Salmonella and E. coli O157:H7 — a particularly dangerous strain of E. coli.
Darwin’s has been subject to multiple FDA advisories since 2019. The July 2025 advisory is the latest in a recurring pattern of contamination issues.
