3. BellePepper Cats Freeze-Dried Treats — Salmonella (October 2025)
Foodynamics recalled several freeze-dried pet treats sold under the brand BellePepper Cats, including Freeze-Dried Chicken Heart Slices and Sample Treats (lot numbers 121426, 011526, and 031627).
The treats tested positive for potential Salmonella contamination. Even pets that appear healthy can carry and spread the bacteria to humans and other animals in the household.
