2. Essential Oil Diffusers
Tea tree oil, peppermint oil, eucalyptus oil, and cinnamon oil are all toxic to cats. When used in a diffuser, the tiny oil droplets land on your cat’s fur and are ingested during grooming.
Cats lack the liver enzyme needed to metabolize these compounds. Symptoms include drooling, vomiting, tremors, and difficulty breathing.
