1. Cheerios, Lucky Charms, Cinnamon Toast Crunch & More Cereals
On December 26, 2025, Gold Star Distribution Inc. recalled ALL FDA-regulated products from their Minneapolis storage facility. The full list includes select products from Cheerios, Lucky Charms, Cinnamon Toast Crunch, Fruit Loops, Rice Krispies, and Honey Bunches of Oats.
FDA inspectors found rodent excreta, rodent urine, and bird droppings in the areas where products were stored. Products stored under these conditions carry a risk of Salmonella and Leptospira bacteria.
The recall specifically applies to products distributed by Gold Star to convenience stores in Minnesota, Indiana, and North Dakota — not all products of these brands nationwide.
