6. Marinated Meats — Undeclared Allergens (April 2026)
On April 9, 2026, the USDA issued a public health alert for Sky Ranch Premium Provisions marinated beef and pork products containing undeclared sesame — a known allergen that became the 9th major allergen recognized by U.S. law in 2023.
Sesame allergy can cause severe reactions including anaphylaxis. If you purchased marinated meats from Asian grocery stores with sell-by dates between December 2025 and April 2026, check the label carefully.
