4. Frozen Meals — Glass & Metal Fragments
Multiple frozen meal recalls in 2026 have involved physical contamination. Trader Joe’s pulled frozen fried rice and dumplings after glass fragments were found. Separately, frozen pizzas and focaccia bread were recalled after metal fragments were found in slow-roasted tomato ingredients.
The FDA urges consumers to check their freezers and discard any products matching recalled lot numbers.
