You stand before two doors. One leads to freedom. The other leads to certain doom. Each door is protected by a guard.
One guard ALWAYS lies. The other ALWAYS tells the truth. You don’t know which is which.
You may ask only ONE question to ONE guard. What question guarantees you find the correct door?
This is a classic. And it has broken more first-year philosophy students than any other puzzle.
